About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. Applicants must be willing to work overtime and weekends. Some departments are hot/wet, and some are cold/wet. The work schedule is 6 days a week and 7 if production works on Saturday.

Requirements

  • Minimum of (6) months of industrial maintenance work experience documented in the work history section of the application or a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program or resume
  • Must list work experience in the work experience section of the application or upload a resume
  • All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history
  • This facility will not accept applicants that have worked for Tyson Foods more than 3 times
  • This facility accepts rehires after 180 days
  • Requires completing computer-based training and entering work into the SAP system
  • Position requires using LOTO, Fall Protection, Ladders, Forklifts, Pallet Jacks

Nice To Haves

  • Current maintenance techs will have first consideration over other applicants
