About The Position

The Maintenance Generalist (2nd Shift) at the Sedalia Plant is responsible for performing preventive maintenance on assigned equipment under training and supervision. This role involves assisting with equipment rebuilding, conducting facility repairs, making machine adjustments during production, and repairing equipment after mechanical failures. The position requires learning and utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), working effectively in a fast-paced environment, and communicating with appropriate personnel. The role also includes participating in shift and/or department rotations as needed, adhering to all company safety regulations and procedures, and progressing through the Maintenance Skills Training Program.

Requirements

3 months mechanical experience or enrolled or completed an automotive/mechanical degree or training.
Must have basic computer skills.
Must be able to train in and perform maintenance and operation of high-tech machinery.
Must pass Level 1 of the Maintenance Skills Training Program (written and hands-on) within 30 days.
Must pass Levels 2–4 within 14 months.

Nice To Haves

Industrial maintenance knowledge.
Electrical maintenance knowledge.
Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Welding and fabrication experience.

Responsibilities
