About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves maintaining and troubleshooting equipment, including mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as welding. Other duties may be assigned. The job requires standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and working on ladders. The work environment can be cold, damp, hot, and humid, with slippery surfaces. Good communication with management and all departments is essential. The candidate must maintain an updated pallet jack and forklift license. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Must have 6 months of continuous employment with a single employer within the last 12 months of employment
Must have 1 year of industrial maintenance experience
Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and required to include work on ladders
Works in a cold, damp to hot and humid environment, and slippery surfaces
