About The Position

This position is responsible for repairing and operating machinery while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position requires proficiency in multiple areas such as electrical, mechanical systems, pneumatic systems, and manufacturing processes. This position is responsible for maintaining plant equipment to supply maximum quality while ensuring the safest work possible. This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must have basic knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatics, and welding.
Must be able to demonstrate hands on abilities, skills will be enhanced through computer-based training modules.
Furnish own hand tools.
Must be able to handle extreme temperature changes and fast paced work environment.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must have 6 months of continuous employment with a single employer within the last 12 months of employment.
Must have 1 year of industrial maintenance experience.
Maintain an updated pallet Jack and forklift license.
