About The Position

This position is responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of mechanical equipment throughout the plant. Tyson Foods creates quality products in a safe environment for its team members, with benefits effective Day 1.

Requirements

Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program (can be a combination of employers as long as experience is at least 6 months).

Responsibilities

Complete preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Install and maintain hydraulic equipment, pumps, motors, and cylinders.
Install and maintain utility equipment including, but not limited to, boilers, compressors, HVAC systems, and cooling towers.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical or mechanical equipment.
Change out and setup equipment.
Complete prefabrication related tasks and run machine shop equipment.
Ability and willingness to perform basic math functions (i.e.: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
Ability and willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
Ability and willingness to work on demand in emergency situations.
Ability and willingness to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions.
Able to complete all paperwork CMMS/SAP functions.
Keep all work areas clean.
Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF requirements.
Perform all positions of job rotation as needed.
Perform any other work as assigned by management.
