About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining all machines throughout the plant. Each technician is assigned to a work area and is responsible for their individual work area only. The work descriptions include Carruthers, DSI, lug wash, blades, wings/CVP, MDM, cone lines, marel sizers, floater, IQF, back dock, kill room/picking, evis, offal, cut-up, floater, battery/pallet jack and boiler room. This position requires the team member to move around their work area to locations that are in need of their assistance. This position must also conduct preventative maintenance and conduct safety checks throughout their area. This position is responsible for directing the maintenance team members and assisting the maintenance supervisor.

Requirements

• Must complete the task after submitting an application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.
• Use of personal protective equipment including hair net, beard net, smock, boots, rubber gloves and hearing protection.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining all machines throughout the plant.
• Moving around their work area to locations that are in need of assistance.
• Conducting preventative maintenance.
• Conducting safety checks throughout their area.
• Directing the maintenance team members.
• Assisting the maintenance supervisor.
