Maintenance Generalist Bagger Technician 2nd shift Pine Bluff, AR
About The Position
This role involves troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while ensuring a safe work environment and adherence to Tyson policies and procedures. The technician will be responsible for mechanical and electrical breakdowns, emergency situations, and performing preventive maintenance. The position requires the ability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions, including dust, heat, cold, and humidity. Physical requirements include standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing ladders, lifts, and scaffolds, with the ability to lift up to 70lbs. This is a 2nd shift position.
Requirements
- 1 year work experience in industrial maintenance
- Complete work history or resume attached to application
- Must be able to perform mechanical and basic electrical trouble shooting and repairs.
- Able to perform diagnosis and repairs without supervision.
- Capable of starting all equipment before production startup and shutdown without supervision.
- Must comply with lockout/tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs.

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all equipment and company assets.
- Provide troubleshooting and repair of any mechanical malfunction.
- Prepare written documentation of actions taken to correct equipment problems.
- Respond to mechanical or electrical breakdowns and handle emergency situations.
- Perform preventive maintenance according to schedule.
- Complete appropriate paperwork and reports.
- Comply with lockout/tagout, confined space, and all other safety programs.
- Perform mechanical and basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
- Perform diagnosis and repairs without supervision.
- Start all equipment before production startup and shut down without supervision.
- Assist with other mechanics as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
