About The Position

This role serves as the first point of contact for facility-related concerns and questions, maintaining contact with external vendors for general facility maintenance. The position involves working in coordination with Maintenance Helpers/Cleaners, performing painting and clean-up projects, and assisting departmental leadership plant-wide in developing material and equipment storage solutions. The role also supports departmental leadership with housekeeping and organization, strategizes with staff for common area refurbishment, and ensures a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. The Maintenance Facilities Tech I is a critical member of the Visual Factory Management team, performing minor building maintenance tasks, conducting preventive maintenance inspections for facility support systems, and handling other assigned facility maintenance items and duties.

Requirements

• High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others
• Computer Skills MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Bentley

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for facility-related concerns and questions

• Assisting departmental leadership with housekeeping and departmental organization
• Strategizing with staff to accomplish refurbishment of common areas
• Ensuring a clean, safe, efficient work environment is available to all associates
• Being a critical member of the Visual Factory Management team
• Perform minor building maintenance tasks
• Accomplish preventive maintenance inspections related to facility support systems
• Responsible for other facility maintenance items as assigned
• Other duties as assigned
