About The Position
The Maintenance Technician position assists with performing plant equipment maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, repairs including preventive maintenance and emergency calls, modification, and upgrades to existing plant equipment. Maintenance is performed according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives. Ability to perform mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
Requirements
- Must have relevant experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting and repair of production equipment
- reliable transportation and driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience and training.
Responsibilities
- Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines and plant facilities
- Forklift experience and training.
- Assist Manager in troubleshooting facility issues.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Dependable/Timely with reliable transportation and driver’s license
- Assist Facilities as needed.
