Requirements
- Two-year technical degree or equivalent certification/work experience
- Capable user of Outlook, Excel, Word.
- Able to efficiently author Technical Instructions based on Work Observations.
- Familiarity with Mechanical and Electrical systems and principles.
- Understanding of Lockout-Tagout, Electrical Safety, Machine Guarding.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Op-Ex/Lean principles is preferred.
- Experience with Maintenance activities is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performs daily support tasks needed by Maintenance Department. This could include participating with problem-solving teams, developing standard work, preventive maintenance system/process improvements, and developing training content.
- Identifies and develops better and more efficient ways for the Maintenance Department to support their direct-production customers.
- Improves the efficiency and effectiveness of all Maintenance Department activities.
- Participates in department safety systems and processes (Connect and Engage, Concern Reporting, Daily Improvement, 5S).
- Participates with department and site Continuous Improvement Activities using various improvement activity methods.
- Develops and maintains Preventive Maintenance (PM) Instructions and Forms using Op Ex skills (standard work observations, time studies, etc.).
- Attaches/uploads completed PM records to Apriso work orders.
- Assists with converting Preventive Maintenance findings into action plans for equipment improvement (PM follow-up work order planning).
- Administers PM auditing program.
