About The Position
Our site in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Technician Co-Op to join our team for the Spring 2027 season. This assignment is intended to be 6 months in duration.
Requirements
- Hands-on technical aptitude and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade equipment-related systems
- Ability to develop documents such as maintenance work instructions, procedure manuals, and safety instructions
- Flexibility in acceptance of assignments and ability to deal effectively with changes in priorities
- Strong aptitude for collaboration and communication
- Safety commitment / advocacy

- Quality mindset
- Must be a currently enrolled student
- Available to work 40 hours a week, M-F (8a-5p) beginning in January through June.
- Must be familiar with the universities requirements to participate in a co-op program
- Spend hours standing and walking
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities
- Maintain equipment to maximize equipment safety, uptime, reliability, quality, sustainability, and cost savings
- Develop innovative solutions to equipment performance issues within prescribed change control requirements
- Support equipment-related continuous improvement
- Support equipment and facilities upgrades
