Maintenance Engineer - System Engineer Dept
About The Position
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining mechanical and electrical production equipment, performing issue analysis, and resolving problems according to work orders and maintenance requests. This role involves fixing equipment during on-duty shifts, preparing specifications for spare parts inventory, and conducting routine equipment inspections to identify and mitigate potential failure risks, thereby preventing downtime. The engineer will also perform regular backups and revisions of automation programs to ensure reliability. Additionally, the position includes performing preventive maintenance and lubrication to reduce equipment downtime and scrap product, assisting software engineers with on-site debugging, and maintaining maintenance documentation. Training employees on basic equipment knowledge, procedures, and skills is also a key responsibility.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Adherence to Fuyao Glass America Inc., Core Foundation Competencies including Ethics, Integrity, Values & Trust.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining mechanical and electrical production equipment.
- Performing issue analysis and resolving issues according to work orders/maintenance requests.
- Maintaining and fixing equipment according to breakdown calls during on-duty shifts.
- Preparing specifications for the purchase of spare parts inventory.
- Performing routine equipment inspection, identifying potential failure risks, and taking action to prevent downtime.
- Performing regular backup or revision to automation program and ensuring the reliability of backup.
- Performing equipment preventive maintenance and lubrication to reduce equipment downtime and scrap product.
- Assisting software engineers to carry out on-site debugging of equipment.
- Recording maintenance documents, such as equipment sudden breakdown maintenance records and maintenance work daily logs.
- Training employees regarding basic equipment knowledge, procedure, and skills.
