About The Position
Fusion Technology is seeking a Security-cleared Professional with an active TS/SCI to join their team as a Systems Engineer. The role involves assessing, determining problems, providing solutions, designing, upgrading, maintaining, and brainstorming improvements for systems. The engineer will collaborate with clients, vendors, management, and IT staff, create control features to meet quality standards, engage in quality control procedures, and develop cost-efficient systems through cost-benefit analysis.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar.
- 5+ years of experience as a systems engineer within the DoD.
Responsibilities
- Assess systems, determine problems, provide solutions to issues that arise, design systems, upgrade systems, maintain systems and brainstorm possible improvements that can be made to a system in the future.
- Collaborate with a variety of people, such as clients, vendors, management, and information technology (IT) staff during the creation and maintenance of a system.
- Create control features to ensure systems effectively meet the organization's quality standards.
- Engage in quality control procedures to ensure that systems are efficient and operational.
- Develop a cost-efficient system for projects by performing a cost-benefit analysis.
