About The Position

Healthcare Realty Trust is recruiting an experienced, on-site Maintenance Engineer for medical office buildings in Columbus. The role is responsible for building maintenance, repairs, and upkeep, including emergency and preventive maintenance. The position requires travel to buildings within the Columbus metropolitan area and participation in an on-call rotation approximately every five weeks. The pay range is $25.00–$32.00 per hour. Requirements

• At least five years of experience in facilities maintenance.
• Thorough understanding of Building Automation Systems, electrical systems, controls, condensing boilers, package rooftop HVAC, variable air volume systems, chemical treatment, emergency generation equipment, plumbing, transfer switches, and life safety systems.
• Basic skills with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use a personal computer and smartphone for the work-order system and email.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, written, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders.
• Self-sufficient and a team player; takes ownership of work, is flexible, and focuses on creating a positive and welcoming impression.

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned repairs and building upkeep, including periodic pressure washing and leaf blowing as needed.
• Complete emergency and preventive maintenance in a timely manner.
• Complete maintenance and repair records as required.
• Complete assigned work orders in a timely manner.
• Travel to buildings within the Columbus metropolitan area.
• Participate in an on-call rotation approximately every five weeks.
