About The Position

The Maintenance Engineer helps ensure hotel facilities are in excellent condition so guests feel safe, cared for, and comfortable. The role performs hands-on maintenance and repairs, conducts safety inspections, responds promptly to guest requests, and collaborates with hotel departments to support the hotel's goals.

Requirements

Basic verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to move continuously and regularly bend, lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift.
Availability to work weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Previous maintenance experience in a hotel or property management setting.
Previous technical training or job experience.

Responsibilities

Perform basic repairs and preventative maintenance on PTAC/HVAC equipment, furniture and cabinetry, appliances, light fixtures, and plumbing.
Perform interior and exterior painting, landscaping, and parking lot repairs.
Troubleshoot technical devices such as key card systems, internet equipment, and television equipment.
Conduct routine safety inspections and report or repair issues with equipment or systems.
Respond to guest requests with urgency and a service-oriented approach.
Support hotel goals through teamwork and collaboration with all departments.
