Maintenance Engineer
About The Position
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production equipment, monitoring operations, and maintaining effective communication with the production team. This role involves troubleshooting and repairing unplanned machine or robot downtime to maintain a factory uptime rate of over 98%. The engineer will implement preventive maintenance plans, including lubrication, parts replacement, and checks on sensors, electrical connections, cylinders, bearings, conveyors, motors, and air/vacuum lines. Additionally, the role includes managing spare parts inventory, controlling maintenance costs, recycling overdue machinery, and participating in new program debugging and technical improvements.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Mechatronics or a closely related field or foreign equivalent
- Three years of industry equipment maintenance experience
- Experience with robots
- Experience with PLC
- Experience with CNC products
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth running of production equipment
- Monitor and maintain good communication with the production team
- Troubleshoot and repair unplanned downtime of machines/robots
- Maintain normal operation of the whole factory with a time rate of more than 98%
- Implement preventive maintenance plans for equipment (lubricating, parts replacement, checking sensors, electric connections, cylinders, bearings, conveyors, motors, air/vacuum lines, welsh, fitter conditions)
- Control spare parts purchase and maintenance cost
- Recycle overdue machinery and save unnecessary costs
- New program debugging and technical improvement
