About The Position

Coury Hospitality is seeking a skilled and service-driven Maintenance Engineer to join the engineering team at Hotel Citrine, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, and AC Hotel Palo Alto Moffett Park. This role is crucial for ensuring the properties remain polished, problem-free, and ready to deliver a flawless experience to every guest. The Maintenance Engineer is a hands-on technician, a sharp-eyed troubleshooter, and a collaborative team member committed to quality and efficiency.

Requirements

Foundational knowledge of building systems: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry
A proactive, problem-solving mindset and strong attention to detail
Familiarity with tools, safety procedures, and maintenance best practices
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in hotel or facility maintenance preferred

Responsibilities

Perform day-to-day maintenance tasks across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs
Respond promptly and professionally to guest service and maintenance requests
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to extend the life of property systems
Support the safe operation of fire alarms, emergency exits, sprinklers, and life safety systems
Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and all departments to address maintenance concerns
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Document maintenance activities and ensure compliance with company policies
Assist with landscaping, snow removal, and seasonal exterior upkeep as needed
