About The Position

This is an entry-level position that performs general repairs in and around the resort as needed. The applicant must have basic electrical, plumbing, and A/C troubleshooting skills, along with the ability to repair various equipment, fixtures, appliances, and electronics in a standard resort environment. On-the-job training will be available to refine necessary skills, techniques, and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must uphold a clean and respectable general appearance and dress in a well-fitted company uniform.
• Must have all-around skills and be able to make minor electrical, plumbing, A/C, painting, wallpaper, and carpentry repairs.
• Must possess a high level of accuracy and neatness.
• Must apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• This is a hospitality environment which demands high expectations of service to our guests, members, and fellow service professionals at all times.

Nice To Haves

• Basic experience in electrical, plumbing, cable television, kitchen equipment, and A/C troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Property Operations Supervisor and Director of Property Operations, perform general repair and maintenance of any and all equipment found in and around the resort.
• Maintain accurate record keeping on assigned tasks.
• Ensure that all safety systems are operable.
• Respond to guest room calls as required within the designated time frame set by the resort.
• Assist other departmental craft workers as required.
• Perform all duties required as Fire Alarm Response Team.
