About The Position

Responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting production and facility equipment—including automated systems—to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Supports production by minimizing downtime, performing equipment installations, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Experience with PLCs, ladder logic, and HMIs for fault resolution.
  • Ability to maintain and support automated production equipment including robotics, conveyors, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Experience with scheduled maintenance on heading, threading, painting, packaging, and automation equipment.
  • Ability to assist with setup, installation, commissioning, and improvement of equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Experience with machine setup and changeover, including alignment and tooling adjustments.
  • Ability to maintain facility and utility systems such as air compressors, lighting, and water systems.
  • Proficiency in completing work orders, downtime logs, and maintenance records.
  • Skill in tracking usage of tools and parts and requesting reorders.
  • Ability to collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Willingness to train operators in basic troubleshooting and equipment care.
  • Experience in participating in root cause analysis and supporting equipment performance enhancements.
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety policies.
  • Ability to participate in safety programs, audits, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, robotic, and automated systems. Use PLCs, ladder logic, and HMIs for fault resolution.
  • Maintain and support automated production equipment including robotics, conveyors, sensors, actuators, and control systems.
  • Execute scheduled maintenance on heading, threading, painting, packaging, and automation equipment.
  • Assist with setup, installation, commissioning, and improvement of equipment using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Support alignment and tooling adjustments during changeovers. Provide operator support during runs.
  • Maintain air compressors, lighting, water systems, and perform facility inspections.
  • Accurately complete work orders, downtime logs, and maintenance records. Communicate repair timelines with production leads.
  • Track usage of tools and parts; request reorders to avoid downtime.
  • Work with production, engineering, and quality teams. Train operators in basic troubleshooting and equipment care.
  • Participate in root cause analysis and support equipment performance enhancements.
  • Follow OSHA standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company safety policies. Participate in safety programs, audits, and corrective actions.
