About The Position

Maintenance employees perform general housekeeping and janitorial duties to keep parking facilities bright and clean. The role also includes snow removal, landscaping, power washing, painting, and other maintenance tasks. Employees work outdoors up to 90% of the time, in weather conditions of all types, including extreme cold, heat, and high winds.

Requirements

Able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Able to perform repetitive hand use, grasp and hold tools, and engage in extensive walking, standing, bending, reaching, crouching, twisting, and stair climbing.
Able to work with cleaning solvents and hazardous substances used for graffiti removal, cleaning, painting, and other applications.
Able to work outdoors in all types of weather, including extreme cold, heat, and high winds for extended periods.
Able to safely operate company vehicles and trucks while meeting the company’s driving-record policy.

Responsibilities

Sweep garages and lots, including curbs, stairs, walkways, elevators and elevator tracks, expansion joints, and drive lanes.
Wipe down stair handrails using company-approved cleaning supplies.
Clean windows in structures using company-approved cleaning supplies.
Clean and polish trash cans, empty them, and install new liners.
Clean vomit, urine, feces, and blood promptly using company-approved supplies and personal protective equipment.
Mop elevators, elevator landings, and other areas as needed using company-approved supplies and personal protective equipment.
Respond to radio calls in a timely manner.
Safely operate company vehicles and trucks and maintain a driving record that meets company policy.
Perform regular tours of structures and lots.
Shovel snow and ice as required; scrape snow and apply magnesium salt as needed.
Remove trash and debris from drive lanes, curbs, walkways, stairs, and other operational areas.
Clean 911 boxes, signage, and window ledges using company-approved supplies.
Remove cobwebs from stairwell corners and around light fixtures.
Clean offices by emptying trash, vacuuming, dusting, and washing windows.
Clean restrooms, including sinks and toilets; mop floors; and replenish paper and sanitary products as needed.
Clean break rooms.
Remove graffiti and perform paint touch-ups as needed.
Paint areas of structures, stairwells, bathrooms, and office walls.
Complete work orders assigned through Fiix software.
Perform car counts at structures and open lots.
Respond to elevator problems and reset elevators as needed.
Replace light bulbs as needed.
Assist with power washing as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
