About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance and repair work in a variety of settings. This position requires expertise in power tools, low voltage systems, logic controllers, and frame carpentry. The ideal candidate will have experience in Industrial electrical work, including troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Electrician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Experience with low voltage systems and logic controllers
- Familiarity with frame carpentry for installation purposes
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in using power tools for electrical work
- Knowledge of commercial electrical systems and renovations
- Familiarity with maintenance person tasks related to maintenance work
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Strong understanding of electrical schematics and troubleshooting techniques
- Skilled in using hand tools for various electrical tasks
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical maintenance and repair work in accordance with established safety procedures
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential electrical issues and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
- Collaborate with other maintenance team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment and facilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
