Maintenance Electrician
About The Position
The Maintenance Electrician is responsible for inspecting and maintaining both interior and exterior areas of the facility, performing routine preventive maintenance on all production equipment. This role involves conducting electrical and mechanical installations and maintenance across the campus, coordinating with external contractors when necessary. The Electrician will support manufacturing teams by repairing and upgrading production equipment, and will also assist with general maintenance tasks beyond electrical work. Key responsibilities include maintaining and managing spare parts inventory, reporting quality or safety issues, and communicating effectively with supervisors and the maintenance team. The position requires upholding company standards of professionalism and safety, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace in compliance with Sealing Devices Quality System guidelines. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
- Experience running conduit and wiring machines or facility systems.
- Skilled with diagnostic and craft tools (e.g., multimeters, conduit benders).
- Ability to read schematics, troubleshoot, and perform basic math calculations.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s degree in Electrical-Mechanical Systems Maintenance or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
