About The Position

Conagra Brands is seeking a Maintenance Electrician and/or Controls and Instrumentation Technician to join their team in Imlay City. This onsite role involves working the midnight shift (1:30 PM-10:30 PM) and reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor. The position offers opportunities for growth and development through a sponsored training program with paid on-the-job training. The hourly rate is determined by experience, skills, and certifications, with potential for higher rates for Journeyman or Master Electricians and Controls and Instrumentation Technicians, plus a shift differential.

Requirements

Program, Debug PLC's and HMI's with Allen Bradley
Strong working knowledge of motion controllers, PLC's and HMI's
Experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix
High School Diploma/GED required

Nice To Haves

Prior experience should include fabricating, machine shop skills and a mechanical background
Bachelor of Science, Associates, Certificate in an Engineering field or Electrical Journeyman/Master licensure

Responsibilities

New installation of conduit and repairs
Electrical motors/industrial controls
Working with AC/DC voltages
PLC programming, hardware networking and communication
Maintain programming, hardware networking, and communication
Compliance with plant safety and environmental regulations
Complete special projects
Working knowledge of electrical motors and industrial electrical controls, including design, wiring and troubleshooting of advanced motor control circuits
Fabricating, machine shop skills and a mechanical background
Familiar with variable frequency drives and troubleshooting
Use blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer's installation manuals to complete assigned projects
Support delivery of brand quality and customer satisfaction
Work at heights and confined spaces
