About The Position

This opportunity is for a Spring semester co-op from January to May 2027 and is for students currently enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited technical college. You will observe and assist journeyman-level IEs in routine maintenance work including but not limited to: Electrical circuit troubleshooting & repair, Conduit & wire installation, Lighting repair, PLC troubleshooting & repair, Drive troubleshooting & repair, Instrumentation & control valve calibration, Troubleshooting & repair, and HVAC work.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to safely operate equipment in a heavy industrial environment
  • Ability to utilize a computer for record keeping and documentation
  • Willing and able to work overtime, weekend, and holidays
  • Ability to comprehend and follow complex directions in oral, written or electronic formats
  • Ability to succeed in a team-based, high performance work environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without accommodation
  • Ability to work at heights, on ladders and in confined spaces
  • Operate or work in and environment where walking, standing, crouching, lifting, twisting, climbing and reaching are required to complete essential job functions.
  • Ability to work well with teams and to learn accurately through self-study
  • Currently enrolled or recently graduated from an accredited technical college
