The Maintenance Director is a well-rounded trades professional responsible for leading and performing hands-on maintenance at Mountain View Independent Living, a 99-apartment independent living community. This role oversees maintenance operations, including repairs, preventative maintenance, and general facility upkeep, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for residents and team members. The position requires skills in property maintenance, including painting, mechanical systems, electrical, and plumbing work. The primary purpose is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as directed by the Administrator, to ensure the facility is maintained in a safe and comfortable manner. This role also serves as a key member of the Executive Director’s leadership team.
