About The Position

Lincoln Knolls Health & Rehab is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of maintenance management, including both mechanical and electrical systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities, equipment, and systems, while also leading a team of maintenance professionals.

Requirements

Proven experience in a management role within a maintenance or facilities management environment.
Strong understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC), HVAC systems, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
Proficiency in using CMMS for tracking work orders and managing maintenance tasks effectively.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team of technicians.
Solid mechanical knowledge with experience in reading schematics and utilizing tools such as an ohmmeter for diagnostics.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise the maintenance team to ensure effective performance and adherence to safety standards.
Oversee the maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies for HVAC systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and other critical equipment.
Lead projects related to facility improvements, upgrades, and installations while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to industrial maintenance, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), and schematics.
Provide training and support to staff on best practices in maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities that align with manufacturing schedules.
