About The Position

Lincoln Knolls Health & Rehab is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of maintenance management, including both mechanical and electrical systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient operation of our facilities, equipment, and systems, while also leading a team of maintenance professionals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a management role within a maintenance or facilities management environment.
  • Strong understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC), HVAC systems, electrical systems, and industrial maintenance practices.
  • Proficiency in using CMMS for tracking work orders and managing maintenance tasks effectively.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team of technicians.
  • Solid mechanical knowledge with experience in reading schematics and utilizing tools such as an ohmmeter for diagnostics.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise the maintenance team to ensure effective performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Oversee the maintenance management system (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies for HVAC systems, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and other critical equipment.
  • Lead projects related to facility improvements, upgrades, and installations while ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues related to industrial maintenance, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), and schematics.
  • Provide training and support to staff on best practices in maintenance procedures and safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities that align with manufacturing schedules.
