About The Position

Kettle Park Senior Living, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is seeking a Maintenance Director to join their growing team. Kettle Park Senior Living, which opened in 2019, is an 80-unit apartment-style community providing Assisted Living and Memory Care services. The community offers a stable leadership team and a welcoming staff. This role is full-time, with manager on duty rotation and on-call responsibilities for the building. The Maintenance Director will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment, and will become part of the family, impacting the lives of residents.

Requirements

Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or manager, preferably in property management.
Experience in health care is preferred (3-5 years)
Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical documents.
Valid Driver's License

Nice To Haves

High School Diploma or equivalent, technical certification or associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform all duties concerned with electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care, and various equipment.
Coordinates audits and inspections for safety and facilities readiness
Manages staff recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and corrective actions
Perform assigned housekeeping duties including trash removal, mopping, cleaning, etc. in accordance with facility policy.
Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation.
Assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment for departmental operation, may require vehicle operation.
Assist in the supervision of outside contractor services.
Assist in the inspection of building, equipment, and grounds on a regular basis to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and to maintain proper operation.
