About The Position
Our skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced Maintenance Director to oversee facility operations and lead our maintenance department. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors while maintaining regulatory compliance and efficient day-to-day operations.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year supervisory experience required
- Strong building maintenance and repair experience required
- Knowledge of facility safety standards and regulatory compliance
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Positive, hands-on approach with a commitment to quality service
Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily maintenance and facility operations
- Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs
- Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate departmental priorities
- Ensure building systems, equipment, and grounds are properly maintained
- Coordinate repairs, inspections, and facility improvement projects
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, State, and Federal regulations
- Promote a safe and welcoming environment for residents and guests
