About The Position

At The Terraces at Via Verde, an Agemark Senior Living community, we're looking for an experienced Maintenance Director to lead our Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry teams while keeping our community safe, welcoming, and running smoothly. Requirements

Maintenance or facilities leadership experience
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent organization, communication, and follow-through
A hands-on leadership style with Accountability and Team Spirit
Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements
Flexibility to respond to urgent maintenance needs when necessary

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and support Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry team members
Oversee building systems, grounds, equipment, vehicles, and general repairs
Coordinate preventive maintenance and respond to maintenance needs
Manage safety inspections, fire drills, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance
Ensure apartments are ready for resident move-ins and coordinate timely turnarounds
Manage vendors, contractors, inventory, and maintenance budgets
Step in, troubleshoot, and find solutions when something needs attention
