About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Custodian to maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and contribute to maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. This position has a schedule of Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm with occasional Saturday overtime.

Requirements

• Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical tasks related to cleaning duties
• Successful Candidate must be able to meet U.S. export control requirements (ITAR/EAR) to gain access to technical data.
• Candidates must be eligible for employment in the US and meet the requirements of ITAR.

Nice To Haves

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all office spaces, conference rooms, and employee break areas
• Vacuum carpeting throughout the facility
• Dust, mop, strip, wax, and buff all hard floors and aisles
• Remove all garbage and recycling from the facility in a timely manner
• Clean and sanitize all restrooms and lavatories
• Assist with general maintenance tasks as required
• Communicate equipment and supply needs to the supervisor on an ongoing basis
• Support and assist in the training of new employees
