As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. However, maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish. Sam’s Club is opening a brand-new club in Visalia, CA, and we’re looking for hardworking, dependable individuals to help bring it to life. As a founding associate, you’ll have the unique opportunity to shape the member experience and help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment from the ground up. Create a Clean and Welcoming Experience from Start to Finish As a Maintenance / Custodian Associate at Sam’s Club, you play a key role in shaping the member experience by ensuring the facility is clean, safe, and well maintained. From the parking lot to the restrooms to the sales floor, your work helps create a positive first and last impression for every member. In this role, you’ll be constantly on the move, maintaining cleanliness, responding to spills, and supporting a safe, organized environment.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the entire facility, including floors, restrooms, windows, and common areas.
- Perform routine cleaning using approved procedures, chemicals, tools, and equipment.
- Respond to spills and immediate maintenance needs to help ensure safety.
- Dispose of trash, cardboard, and materials according to company sustainability practices.
- Maintain safe working conditions by following all safety standards and procedures.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and materials as needed.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions to management.
- Support overall facility operations to maintain a clean and member-ready environment.
