Maintenance/Custodial Worker
About The Position
The Maintenance/Custodial Worker ensures that all church facilities are clean, safe, and maintained, supporting services and events. This role requires the ability to work Monday - Thursday, and Saturday, and to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently, repetitive hand and foot motions, prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, squatting, and reaching. Duties are not exhaustive and are subject to change at any time. Applicants must be 18 years old or older.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older to apply.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Repetitive hand and foot motions.
- Prolonged standing, walking, kneeling, bending, stooping, climbing, crawling, squatting, and reaching.
- Must be able to work Monday - Thursday, and Saturday.
- Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Clean all campus areas (sanctuary, classrooms, restrooms).
- Set up and tear down for events and services.
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs.
- Monitor facility needs and report issues.
- Maintain cleanliness before services.
- Support special events setup/cleanup.
