We are hiring a Maintenance Crew Member who has a "can do," no excuses, attitude, can work collaboratively with diverse individuals with humility and respect, has experience and aptitude for landscape construction work, is dependable, on time, and a person of their word, is proactive, dependable, demonstrates great communication skills, and possesses high integrity and honesty. The role involves executing work following the direction of Crew Leaders and Account Managers, proficient use of various hand tools, performing duties associated with commercial landscape maintenance, working collaboratively with people from all backgrounds emphasizing communication for cooperation and collaboration, taking care of all equipment, materials, and uniforms, attending training classes and certifications as needed or instructed by supervisors, and following Clean Scapes safety policies and guidelines. No prior landscaping experience is required, but a strong willingness to learn is essential. Reliable transportation to the office or jobsite is necessary, as is physical fitness and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. This role involves heavy lifting, manual dexterity, and various physical tasks in Texas weather conditions, requiring safety and awareness, especially when handling machinery and equipment.
Requirements
- No prior landscaping experience required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Reliable transportation to the office or jobsite.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
Nice To Haves
- Previous landscaping, lawn maintenance, or groundskeeping experience
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Experience using landscaping hand tools and equipment
