About The Position

This individual will assist with predicting maintenance costs. The team supports new engine programs with business cases around the producibility of new engines. This team is specifically responsible for Aftermarket-specific business cases around PPH and maintenance feasibility. They will also assist with EAC's (Estimate at completion).

Requirements

• Cost accounting, Cost analysis, Forecasting, Analysis, Business Cases
• Minimum Bachelor's in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• 5-10+ years of experience in MRO / Data Analysis or related technical field involving investigations (Ex: V&V).
• Strong data management skills – Advanced Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and analytical skills.

Nice To Haves

• Former PWC/Aero experience (Siemens Energy, Rolls Royce, Honeywell, Siemens, GE Aviation).
• Experience in Finance, CFA
• MBA

Responsibilities

• Support all engine programs which stretch across all markets.
• Predict the parts replacement rate/cost for future shop visits by studying part-level details (Gears, Bearings, etc.) and working with technical specialists to understand if the replacement rates are within specification or not.
• Extract data from a database and run trend analysis.
• Conduct root-cause analysis.
• Discuss with product experts (Engineers, shop experts) to validate the data and ensure that the data and trend are relevant to the engine's specifications. Trends may be altered if there are new part redesigns.
• Investigate and build relationships with program stakeholders.
• Look for alternate data sources to compare/contrast findings.
• Present findings to management and consolidate insights in a meaningful and credible way.
• Work mainly with MS Office Suite and SAP.
