About The Position

We operate locations nationwide and are committed to maintaining our facilities to the highest standards. Kids Empire is seeking a highly organized and proactive Maintenance Coordinator to support maintenance operations across multiple locations. This individual will be responsible for coordinating repairs, dispatching vendors, tracking work orders, managing maintenance communications, and ensuring parks remain operational, safe, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively, and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in facilities, maintenance coordination, property management, construction administration, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience working with vendors and service contractors.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word).
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects.
  • Customer-service mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CMMS or maintenance management software is preferred.
  • Multi-site retail, restaurant, entertainment, or commercial facilities experience.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, and general building maintenance.
  • Experience reviewing invoices, proposals, and repair estimates.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, review, and prioritize maintenance requests from park locations.
  • Dispatch vendors and technicians for repairs and emergency service calls.
  • Monitor and update work orders through completion.
  • Communicate regularly with park management, vendors, landlords, and internal teams.
  • Track repair costs, invoices, and maintenance budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records of service history, equipment information, and vendor contacts.
  • Follow up on open maintenance issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Assist with facility inspections, compliance requirements, and annual certifications.
  • Support emergency response efforts during after-hours incidents when necessary.
  • Coordinate maintenance-related projects, renovations, and capital improvements.
