Maintenance Controller (Acft Maint Control) CMC
About The Position
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Maintenance Control professional to support the Boeing CMC site in Victorville, California. This role leads, plans, organizes, and controls the maintenance and repairs and the release of aircraft. The incumbent will supervise and coordinate maintenance efforts on an assigned shift to meet the daily flight schedule, serving as a subject matter expert to management and an external spokesperson for the organization on matters pertaining to policies, plans, and objectives. The position requires the ability to inspect all assigned aircraft, certify Aircraft/Engine Logbook entries, and coordinate maintenance control responsibilities. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Boeing Victorville, CA.
Requirements
- Must possess a level of experience necessary to inspect all aircraft assigned, certify Aircraft/Engine Logbook entries, and coordinate maintenance control responsibilities.
- Must possess O-level experience as a maintenance control supervisor.
- Candidate must have good communication skills both orally and written.
- Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
- Experience with recent aircraft organizational level maintenance.
- Read, interpret and use manufacturers and aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, blueprints, wiring/schematic diagrams, data tables and other specifications to determine feasibility and method to repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged components.
- Willing to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends.
