About The Position

As a Maintenance Controller, you are responsible for ensuring aircraft within the operated fleet are maintained in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Acting as a delegate of the Director of Maintenance (DOM), you will monitor aircraft status, oversee maintenance events, coordinate vendors, and ensure proper documentation before return-to-service approval.

Requirements

  • Valid and current Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Part 121, 135, or 91 operations
  • Strong regulatory knowledge and compliance focus
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Execute designated functions of the Director of Maintenance (DOM)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
  • Monitor out-of-service aircraft and ensure timely repairs
  • Assign and oversee maintenance personnel and vendors
  • Create work packages for scheduled, unscheduled, and line maintenance
  • Coordinate and document maintenance events
  • Communicate aircraft status to impacted departments
  • Review aircraft records and maintenance tracking systems
  • Ensure proper documentation prior to return-to-service approval
  • Coordinate timely procurement and shipment of required aircraft parts
  • Collaborate with Maintenance Leadership, Flight Operations, and vendors
