About The Position

County Waste & Recycling is looking for a safety conscience Parts Clerk to join our GROWING team in Clifton Park, NY. This role involves conducting oneself in an appropriate and safe manner, administering and maintaining parts and supplies inventories, purchasing and tracking maintenance parts, goods, and services, and administering the company warranty program. The position also includes stocking shelves, maintaining the facility, researching parts, performing clerical duties, and loading/unloading parts and supplies. The company is an integrated solid waste services company that provides solid waste collection, transfer, disposal and recycling services. Requirements

Safety conscience
Proficiency in company maintenance tracking software and other various systems
Ability to perform annual and monthly stock inventories
Ability to purchase and track maintenance parts, goods, and services
Ability to administer and maintain company warranty program
Ability to stock shelves, clean and maintain maintenance facility
Ability to research parts through parts manuals, OEM, and vendor interaction
Ability to perform clerical duties
Ability to load and unload parts and supplies
Ability to operate a company vehicle

Responsibilities

Conduct self in an appropriate and safe manner, in accordance District / Company Safety policy.
Administer and maintain parts and supplies inventories utilizing company maintenance tracking software and other various systems.
Perform annual and monthly stock inventories as directed utilizing company maintenance software data entry and reconciliation.
Purchase and track all maintenance parts, goods and services as directed.
Administer and maintain company warranty program and tracking through maintenance tracking software.
Stocks shelves, clean and maintain maintenance facility to insure a safe and orderly work area in accordance with all District / Company requirements.
Research parts through parts manuals, OEM, and vendor interaction.
Perform clerical duties as required.
Loading and unloading of parts and supplies from company, vendor, or delivery vehicles.
All other job-related duties as assigned.
Operate company vehicle to pick up and deliver parts and supplies as needed.
