About The Position

Works under the general supervision of an assigned supervisor in General Services to provide skilled labor for the construction and maintenance of City owned buildings and facilities. Constructs and repairs structural woodwork and equipment in establishment working from blueprints, line drawings, shop drawings, or oral instructions. Builds, repairs, and installs using carpenter's hand tools and power tools. Drives various types of trucks to and from work site to haul materials and equipment.

Requirements

• Skilled in construction and maintenance of buildings and facilities.
• Proficient in constructing and repairing structural woodwork and equipment.
• Ability to work from blueprints, line drawings, shop drawings, or oral instructions.
• Skilled in using carpenter's hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to drive various types of trucks.
