Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Strong communication skills
  • Computer skills to include Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word and Excel)
  • Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays as needed
  • Adaptable and dependable with ability to follow direction
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
  • Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels within the organization, from the floor to the executive leadership team

Nice To Haves

  • Purchasing, maintenance, or MRO inventory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
  • Experience with CMMS or ERP systems along with SAP is strongly preferred
  • One (1) Year maintenance background preferred

Responsibilities

  • Replenish checked out spares through established requisition process
  • Vendor invoice matching/PO info correction (VIM)
  • Order needed parts for upcoming jobs
  • Convert requisitions to purchase orders after approval
  • Invoice matching/PO correction (VIM)
  • Support cycle count activities and investigate inventory discrepancies
  • Purchase maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) materials including parts, tools, supplies, and services
  • Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure parts and services meet required specifications, quality standards, and delivery schedules
  • Expedite critical or emergency maintenance orders to minimize production downtime.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisors and Planners to understand upcoming needs and priorities
  • Performs other duties as assigned
