MAINTENANCE/AUTO MECH ENGINEER
About The Position
Responsible for performing all general maintenance and repair functions on facility vehicles as well as other maintenance and repairs as required within approved guidelines and as directed. This role involves interacting effectively with Team Members, performing excellent customer service, inspecting and maintaining service logs for all Facility vehicles, and setting up and administering contracts with vehicle specialty service shops. The position also includes performing light repairs and maintenance service on facility vehicles, as well as minor repairs throughout the Casino complex as directed. Ensuring adherence to all OSHA regulations and internal safety policies and procedures is crucial. The role requires operating company vehicles, conducting preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, and supporting other Maintenance Engineers and the Facility department as needed. The Team Member must maintain a consistent, regular attendance record and perform any reasonable request made by management.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- At least five years of work experience preferred.
- Minimum of five years experience in Auto Mechanics, Building maintenance or the Constructions industry.
- Must be able to read blueprints.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
- Must have strong skills in Auto Mechanics, Electrical, HVAC and Building Maintenance work.
- Will be required to use Microsoft Outlook 2000 and other Windows based programs.
- Must be able to work in high or confined spaces.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure and technical manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
- Regularly required to stand; walk, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Occasionally required to sit.
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
