About The Position

Equinox is seeking energetic and enthusiastic Maintenance Associates to work at the Equinox Highline club. The role helps maintain a clean, sanitary, organized, and presentable club while providing excellent customer service to members, prospective members, and guests. Responsibilities include maintaining club and exercise equipment, cleaning and stocking locker rooms, keeping towels available, receiving deliveries, and supporting special events. The position pays $17.00 per hour.

Requirements

• Possess a clear understanding of what constitutes a clean and sanitary environment.
• Ability to service athletic equipment.
• Experience working with cleaning products and hand tools.
• Strong customer service, organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities.
• Must have a legal right to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in cleaning and laundry services is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep the club and exercise equipment clean and well maintained while providing excellent customer service to members, prospective members, and guests.
• Keep the sidewalk entrance and lobby presentable.
• Clean locker rooms and restock locker room consumables.
• Clean and organize storage, laundry, exercise, and coat rooms.
• Maintain an adequate supply of towels on the exercise floor.
• Provide maintenance for all equipment.
• Receive and store deliveries.
• Assist with special events.
• Notify the Housekeeping Manager when rooms or equipment require immediate attention.
