Requirements

High school education or equivalent
Ability to work and frequently move throughout platform areas up to 45 feet above ground level
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to collaboratively work in a group and independently
Ability to maintain an excellent attendance and work record
Must be 18 or older

Nice To Haves

Vocational technical school certificate preferred
2 years of previous maintenance experience preferred
Distribution Centre conveyor minor and major repairs preferred
Mechanical trade experience preferred
Programmable Logic Controller experience a plus
MP2 maintenance software a plus

Responsibilities

Render preventative maintenance on the conveyor systems equipment
Complete diagnosis and repairs on conveyor system equipment
Complete diagnosis and repairs on the lift equipment fleet
Complete electrical diagnosis and repair (where applicable)
Provide facility maintenance and repair
Perform general construction as required
Maintain good maintenance records
Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Demonstrate good communication practices, including verbal, written and computer skills
Ability to perform the Maintenance Helper function such as general facilities duties
Perform other duties as assigned
