About The Position

This role assists other Maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment, cleans and maintains equipment, tools, and work areas, and completes work orders and records logs. The associate will maintain and repair building facilities, including plumbing, construction, and painting. They will operate material handling equipment and assist in the usage and disposal of hazardous materials and waste according to company policies. The position involves performing preventive and basic maintenance and repairs on various equipment such as production equipment, lift trucks, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, HVAC units, facilities, and grounds. The role also requires compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity, and completing work assignments by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with others, identifying priorities, and adapting to change. Responsibilities

  • Assists other Maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment.
  • Cleans and maintains equipment tools and work areas.
  • Completes work orders, records logs, and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.
  • Maintains and repairs building facilities, including plumbing, construction, and painting.
  • Operates material handling equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment.
  • Assists in the usage and disposal of hazardous materials and waste, such as cleaning chemicals, according to company policies and procedures.
  • Performs preventive and basic maintenance and repairs on equipment, including production equipment, lift trucks, pneumatic systems, material handling equipment, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, HVAC units, facilities, and grounds, according to company policies and procedures.
  • Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity.
  • Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to and learning from change, difficulties, and feedback.
