About The Position

Responsible for overseeing heat treat operations. This role involves maintaining environmental, health, and safety standards, training new operators, performing heat treat samples, and making minor repairs on the heat treat system. The associate must be able to troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance, as well as repair and/or make heat treat coils and fixtures. The role may also require running the heat treat system when necessary, and always keeping the work area clean and working in a safe manner. Other job duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Must be able to use measuring equipment
• Must be able to work independently and with others
• Must be able to lift 25lbs
• Must be able stand continuously for 8 hrs – 12 hours
• Must be able to bend and twist
• Demonstrate dependability and adherence to all safety rules and regulations
• Ability to work in tight places
• Good hand/eye coordination and good motor skills

Responsibilities

• Maintain Environmental, Health & Safety standards in the workplace
