About The Position
Aegis Living Corte Madera is hiring a full-time Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Director with general maintenance and repairs in an assisted living community. The role includes seeking the lowest-cost solutions to maintenance issues and helping maintain a community serving assisted living and dementia care residents.
Requirements
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, facilities and operations systems management in an assisted living and dementia care community.
- Ability to build relationships with residents and staff members.
- Ability to maintain resident confidentiality.
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Must be willing to take a 2-step TB test.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on mechanical systems.
- Prepare rooms for new residents.
- Communicate updates and issues requiring attention to residents, other staff, and the Maintenance Director.
