About The Position

As a Maintenance Assistant at Sunrise Senior Living, you help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community for residents, families, and team members. You support safety, compliance, and day-to-day building operations by completing assigned maintenance tasks, performing basic repairs, and assisting with preventative maintenance and facility upkeep. You may also drive a community vehicle as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned maintenance tasks and work orders.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, appliance, and fixture repairs.
• Assist with painting and refurbishing projects.
• Support maintenance of HVAC, water, and mechanical systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and repair inventory.
• Support carpet and floor care as needed.
• Assist with suite make-ready preparation.
• Follow OSHA, fire safety, and infection control standards.
• Participate in emergency preparedness activities and fire drills.
• Drive the community vehicle as assigned.
