About The Position
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to support our facilities team in maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment. This hands-on role involves general building maintenance, landscaping, and assisting the Maintenance Director with daily operations.
Requirements
- GED or High School diploma preferred
- 1+ year of experience with facility maintenance, building systems, or landscaping preferred
- WA State Driver License with clean record
- Proficient with power tools and general repair/maintenance skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions
Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance: power washing, carpet cleaning, help with trash pickup
- Complete and document work orders as assigned, reporting issues to supervisor
- Power wash walkways and structures; maintain grounds and building cleanliness
- Assist and learn from Maintenance Director in managing facilities
- Be available for on-call duties, including evenings and weekends
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
