About The Position
We are seeking a reliable Maintenance Assistant to support our facilities team in maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment. This hands-on role involves general building maintenance, and assisting the Maintenance Director with daily operations.
Requirements
- WA State Driver License with clean record
- Proficient with power tools and general repair/maintenance skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions
Nice To Haves
- GED or High School diploma preferred
- 1+ year of experience with facility maintenance, building systems, or landscaping preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform general building maintenance: electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and fire safety systems
- Complete and document work orders as assigned, reporting issues to supervisor
- Painting, drywall repair, room turn work
- Assist and learn from Maintenance Director in managing facilities
- Be available for on-call duties, including evenings and weekends
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
