About The Position

Valora St. Anthony, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our growing team! Valora St. Anthony is located in a peaceful neighborhood just minutes from Minneapolis and St. Paul. Our community is easily accessible via major roads, including Highway 38 (St. Anthony Blvd) and Highway 65, making us a convenient option for employees in St. Anthony, Columbia Heights, Northeast Minneapolis, Shoreview, and Roseville. We help seniors Age Magnificently in our 73-unit assisted living and care suites. Join our team today! Shifts Available: Part-Time 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm Wage: $17.50-$22.50 per hour Are you compassionate towards others? Are you passionate about enriching the lives of others? In this position you will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in health care is preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform all duties concerned with electrical, heating, cooling, plumbing, painting, floor care, and various equipment.
Perform assigned housekeeping duties including trash removal, mopping, cleaning, etc. in accordance with facility policy.
Address and correct work orders to maintain building and equipment operation.
Assist in the purchasing of supplies and equipment for departmental operation, may require vehicle operation.
Assist in the supervision of outside contractor services.
Assist in the inspection of building, equipment, and grounds on a regular basis to ensure compliance with codes and regulations and to maintain proper operation.
